Ranchin’ Vets, (also referred to in this document as “we”, “us” “our”) is a Tax-Exempt 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization - Tax ID #46-1168103, serving Post 9/11 Veterans. Ranchin’ Vets is committed to safeguarding the personal information entrusted to us by those we serve and our donors. This policy outlines the principles and practices we follow in protecting your personal information. This Personal Information Protection & Privacy Policy applies to any person providing services on our behalf, any person we are providing services to, our donors and benefactors, the www.ranchinvets.org website, any subdomains, widgets we offer, and any other web pages we directly own and operate. This Personal Information & Privacy Policy does not apply to other websites, which may be accessible from our website or external links. External websites, not managed by Ranchin’ Vets may provide a link to their privacy policies that govern the gathering of personal data, such as credit card information for online donations. Ranchin’ Vets always recommends that users fully review the privacy policies of any external links/sites. A printed copy of this policy is available upon request.
Personal Information we may collect:
In order for a veteran to register for our program, we require a completed registration form and a copy of the veteran’s DD214. The veteran registration form, donations, purchases, or request for information require one or more of the following items of personal data information:
Contact Data such as name, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number (this applies to donors and veterans); current employment status (applies to veterans registering in the program)
Financial Data such as your account or credit card number (this applies only to donors)
Demographic Data such as your zip code, age, and gender (this applies only to the veteran registration form)
Activity Data such as your donation history, fundraising history, events attended, etc.
Physical Data such as limitations to physical labor and educational (this applies only to the veteran registration form)

Maintaining confidentiality of Personal Information, we’ve collected:
Unless otherwise noted and disclosed, we will keep your Personal Information private and will not sell it or share it with other nonprofit organizations, for profit businesses, donors, employers, or other entities or persons. If disclosure is demanded to comply with a court order or other legal process you will be notified. We protect personal information in a manner appropriate for the sensitivity of the information. We make every reasonable effort to prevent any loss, misuse, disclosure or modification of personal information, as well as any unauthorized access to Personal Information. Although reasonable measures and precautions are adhered to, this Personal Information & Privacy Policy in not a guarantee of its security. Ranchin’ Vets does not assume liability for information you voluntarily provide to us or for information you voluntarily provide via a link from our website (including but not limited to making donations, purchasing merchandise or event tickets).

Below are several ways of how Ranchin’ Vets uses Personal Information that you’ve provided to us:
To register veterans in our program
To register Agricultural Employer partners in our program
To send a donor acknowledgment letter, as required by the operating procedures for a 501 (c) (3) Nonprofit Organization
To adhere to the compliance requirements of operating a 501 (c)(3) Nonprofit Organization under the guidelines of the Internal Revenue Service
To send updates and newsletters about our program, events and solicit donation requests
To maintain the Ranchin’ Vets database, as required by recommended compliance procedures, for recordkeeping pertaining to operating a 501 (c) (3) Nonprofit Organization
Use of Email communication:
Ranchin’ Vets may use the email you provided to us as a way to send thank you letters, acknowledge donations made, provide information about upcoming events. We do not share your email, nor do we make your email address available to other entities. Emails sent via our website will provide an unsubscribe link. If you make online donations or sign up for events via our website secure links, you may receive emails from our processing partner. Please refer to their privacy policies for additional details.
Opting Out:
Providing your Personal Information is completely voluntary. You may still view the website of Ranchin’ Vets, follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media outlets. A donor wishing to make a gift to Ranchin’ Vets may elect to submit a check and a donation acknowledgment letter will be mailed in return. A supporter wishing to attend an event can purchase tickets via mail. Ranchin’ Vets does NOT require you create a log in to view our website. Veterans wanting to register for the Hire a Vet Program will need to provide Personal Information via email.
Age Restrictions to view the Ranchin’ Vets website, make an online donation or purchase event tickets:
Ranchin’ Vets does not allow children under the age of 13 to purchase event tickets, make donations, provide Personal Information or view our website. If a child submits Personal Information, please contact us immediately so we can remove them from our database.
Processing online donations, recurring donations and event tickets:
To the extent donations are processed or event tickets are purchased through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation. Online donations and ticket purchases must be made via a credit card by the authorized card user.
